Margra Ferrier
Founder & CEO
Margra Ferrier is the founder and CEO of Monarch Ventures LLC and a lifelong entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in business operations, development, and hands-on construction. She has owned and operated multiple businesses, including two childcare centers in Lexington, Kentucky, where she developed deep expertise in management, budgeting, and problem-solving.
In 2023, she opened Lexington’s first Playa Bowls, an experience that highlighted the need for clearer communication and transparency in construction. Her leadership emphasizes organized execution, respect for design intent, and a commitment to quality. In 2025, she oversaw the completion of the second Playa Bowls location with zero change orders and on-time delivery.

Steve Ferrier
Founder
Steve Ferrier is the founder of Monarch Ventures LLC, a general contracting firm rooted in transparency, communication, and disciplined project execution. With more than 30 years of experience in business IT, customer service, and operational systems, Steve brings a rare blend of technical problem-solving and people-focused leadership to the construction industry.
Before launching Monarch Ventures, Steve spent over two decades managing complex workflows and client relationships—experience that now informs his strong project oversight and coordination with architects and vendors. His leadership on the Playa Bowls French Quarter buildout demonstrated his organized approach, clear communication, and respect for design intent.
Steve is committed to building trusted relationships and delivering projects with accountability and precision.

Monica L. Gary
Project Management & Design-Build Operations Leader
Monica Gary is a project management and design-build operations professional with over a decade of experience supporting commercial, retail, and corporate projects. She brings expertise in project coordination, contract management, scheduling, permitting, and workflow systems, with technical proficiency in Procore, CMiC, Autodesk, and Bluebeam. During her 11 years at a high-performing design-build firm, Monica managed AIA contracts, subcontracts, bid packages, cost controls, and proposals while streamlining communication and documentation across teams.
As Project Lead for Monarch Ventures, she provides organized, detail-focused coordination through design support, vendor collaboration, and compliance tracking. Monica is known for her precision, reliability, and ability to keep projects moving efficiently.
